Technical skill
While we have extensive general skills described under the Range of Skills section, Marekesh can provide services in a number of specialist area which include:
  • Large pump stations such as the Adelaide pump station at Adelaide's Desalination Plant Transfer Pipeline which is capable of pumping between30 and 375 megalitres (ML) per day in a single lift pump station, which required a pumping head of 185 metres at maximum flow rate.   Watch the video here. 

  • Long pipelines such as the Gladstone Fitzroy Pipeline which entailed a 115km DN600 buried pipeline, three relift pump stations, a water treatment plant and 100ML above ground reinforced concrete storage tanks. More information here.

  • Challenging pump stations such as the Queensbury Waste Water Pump Station which had a number of site constraints ranging from small footprint, groundwater, close proximity to existing operational pump station and close proximity to residential housing.
